What color of rubber bands for braces make teeth look lighter?
Im getting braces (silver) and i don't want my teeth looking dark and grey! What color will make braces look lighter?

Definitely a pretty pink. it takes the focus offthe colorof your teeth.

well if you want it to look brighter and more white, usually you would get darker colors I would assume. After all, the contrast of darker colors will automatically make your teeth appear to be much lighter than they are.

However, if you're looking so that you can't really see the braces, you could get clear. I wouldn't reccommend them though. Friends have told me that if you drink red kool-aid and other dyed food products, your rubber bands with change color.
Go with the darker or brighter colors. You should be okay. And here's my tip to you, actually EAT GOOD AND HEALTHY foods while they're on. I know it's hard. I had mine on for like four years, but I got them off and parts of my teeth are different colors and whitening has helped, but its never the same. So try to eat right, BRUSH YOUR TEETH REALLY WELL, and floss, even if you do have to use that special tool. Do it. If you follow the rules, your teeth will come out amazing! (source: Yahoo! Answers)
