How long do you have to wear braces for?
How long do you have to wear braces for? Does age matter. I am 21 btw. And do the white braces cost more than regular metal ones? I want them to be almost invisible.

Usually 2 years but it depends on your situation. If you''re situation is not as severe, then usually 1 year, almost 2. If its more serious, then 2 years, if not more. Age doesn't really seem to matter as much, it just depends on how your teeth moves and how severe your teeth are. Also, if you don't cooperate with your orthodontist, you may have to wear braces longer.
White braces cost more than regular metal ones cuz they're more invisible and you pay for invisibility cuz it doesn't look like you're wearing braces as much. So if you want the white ones, expect to pay more.

Is this the same for for Invisalign? I know that's what my orthodontist uses. I want to know how long am going to have them. I don't know if it will be longer or shorter. I guess it just depends on my teeth.
