Is it normal for my braces/teeth to hurt this much?
I just got braces about 2 days ago and at first it hurt to chew on food like bagels ect but the next day i cant eat anything because it hurt soo much. Even now if i touch my teeth and or bite down on anything including the braces it will hurt alot.
Is it normal for my teeth to hurt this much?
If so how long will they hurt this much?

That's definitely normal. I could barely do anything that involved my mouth for like, four days after I got my braces on. It was terrible. The pain should go away within a week or so. At least most of it should.

Yeah, it's totally normal. I would suggest taking some medication for that like Tylenol. Usually it's like that between a week and a week in a half. Try eating mashed potatoes, and soft foods until then. It's just your teeth adjusting to the pressure of the braces. :/ Good luck! (source: Yahoo! Answers)
