Braces Sutherland: Are braces the only solution to an adult tooth which is too crowded to come down?

Are braces the only solution to an adult tooth which is too crowded to come down?
I have completely straight teeth and all adult teeth but the tooth is stuck up against another. I don't think i need braces for one crowded tooth.

If you like the way your teeth look now you can see an oral surgeon and possibly have the impacted tooth removed. If the impacted tooth is currently not causing damage there is the possibility of just keeping an eye on it at dental appointments and messing with it later if needed.
Sadly though, the longer you wait the harder they are to remove. (source: Yahoo! Answers)
